Savvy U Online Continued Education

MCM is a project management company that provides live PMI and NMA continued education credits for professionals. About a year ago they approached me about putting their training online. They are not particularly web savvy. So after a few conversations I had the idea of developing a Learning Management System that would hold all of their courses, as well as those provided by other business partners, of theirs who also wanted to provide their live training in an online format.

From this Savvy-U was born. For my part I designed the site, logo etc. and also built the back end.

They have since partnered with several firms, have developed a couple dozen courses and are set to have a major launch with a very large partner.

So what does this all mean for you? Well there are several things to consider. If you have a professional certification, thye might have a course that gives you Continued Education credits to maintain your certification. If you have a particular area of knowledge, especially if you already offer live courses, this could represent a great opportunity to get your course to a wider audience and present you with residual income.
